Incorporated in 1949,  we are a non-profit organization serving chemical engineers throughout the greater Kansas City area.  We seek to present exceptional speakers, tours, and career resources to our member base. The Section is managed and run by local, dedicated chemical engineers who graciously volunteer their time and efforts. Questions? Comments? Want to get involved? Reach us at kansascity@aiche.org

  • We've been around since 1949 and have seen plenty of members come and go.  But other than a few boxes of old tax records, we have virtually no history on the Section!  Do you have old pictures?  Did you serve as a past chairman?  Care to share any fond experiences?  Please let us know at kansascity@aiche.org

May Service Activity

Event Dates:
Tue, 2012-05-15 17:30 - 19:30
Location:
Harvester's (Directions below)

For our May meeting, we will be volunteering our time at Harvester's.  We are trying to get at least 20 volunteers to participate, so encourage your friends and coworkers to come out and help us!  Families are also able and encouraged to volunteer, but Harvester's won't allow children under age 6.

Work will be performed in a warehouse environment (moving boxes, sorting things, etc).  Harvestor's enforces a dress policy to ensure safe and comfortable working conditions in their volunteer center.  Please read below for guidelines.
